Hawzah News Agency- Speaking to reporters, Hojatoleslam Hamid Mogheiseh said the center is playing a pivotal role during the holy month of Ramadan in strengthening the digital ecosystem of Islamic sciences. By providing advanced Qur’anic, Hadith, and jurisprudential software and intelligent systems, the center has facilitated rapid and precise access to religious sources for scholars, preachers, and the wider public.
He emphasized that the development of smart search engines, automated text analysis tools, and AI-driven applications has positioned Noor as one of the leading actors in promoting Islamic teachings in the digital sphere across the Muslim world. According to Mogheiseh, these efforts take on added significance during Ramadan, serving to deepen understanding of the Holy Qur’an and Islamic doctrine.
The sessions, to be held from February 25 1 to March 5 at the AI section of the exhibition venue at the Mosalla of Imam Khomeini, will explore the capacities, challenges, and practical applications of artificial intelligence in Qur’anic studies. Prominent seminary and university scholars are scheduled to participate.
The opening session, titled “Algorithmic Intelligence in Qur’anic Governance,” will feature Hojatoleslam Abdolhossein Khosropanah, Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution.
Subsequent sessions will address a range of themes, including the relationship between human neural networks and artificial intelligence in understanding Qur’anic models of reasoning; smart interaction with classical Qur’anic exegesis; agent-based AI for explaining Qur’anic concepts; and the transition from digital to intelligent research infrastructures.
Additional panels will examine AI-assisted semantic discovery in Qur’anic verses as well as the intelligent systematization of supplications, including the Sahifa Sajjadiyya.
Each session will run for one hour and will be accessible both in person and via live broadcast on Noor’s official channel on domestic messaging platforms.
Organizers say the initiative aims to clarify the transformative role of emerging technologies—particularly artificial intelligence—in advancing digital Qur’anic scholarship and fostering deeper engagement with Islamic sources in the contemporary era.
